Thank
you so much for all of your special touches and fabulous wedding music
for our October 16th, 2004 wedding. It was a wonderful event and
experience to share with all of our friends and family. Jared
and I knew once we had met that you were destined to be our musical
entertainment for our big day! Dawn, your great personality really made
us feel comfortable and relaxed. William was able to serenade our
guests with live guitar melodies, and not the traditional wedding
selections. Your wonderful voice as you sang our “ sentimental” song
during the ceremony made it truly special. We were drawn to your great
combination of live music and Deejay service, to create a wedding that
was truly unique and that fit our personalities. You provided a fun
atmosphere to celebrate our marriage and the chance to party the night
away.
I
think that the best compliment that a musician or deejay can receive is
if people DANCE and have a good time, which everyone certainly did. We
have the pictures and videos to prove it! The music was a nice
collection that all ages could get out there and dance the night away.
Music can definitely make or break an event. I never once doubted your
services, since your fun and outgoing personalities keep a party going.
we have been to weddings with lame music where the dance floor remains
empty and people leave before the party is over.
Working
with you was such a positive experience. I had complete confidence in
you both and your business. Your expertise and suggestions were
invaluable. Your quality and presentation exceeded every expectation. I
cannot compliment you enough on the special touches and desire to make
my day the best it could be.

every bride-to-be I know, and for other special events!

Duo Hands down one of the top vendors we had!!! Dawn is full of life
and energy and takes the vibe of your day and goes with it!! My husband
is obsessed with music and provided a detailed play list and she was
more then happy to take it and used it! We had her play the harp, it
was INCREDIBLE! We gave her free reign on our reception to make sure it
went great, and it did! She sang lounge songs for the first part while
we were doing pictures and everyone was getting food, it resulted in
this jazz/blues club scene and set the perfect mood for the whole
evening. Once the dance music
hit off it was a blast from then on!! I recommend her to EVERYONE!!!
The bonus is that she is beyond affordable, not to rip off a naive and
excited bride and groom!

You are amazing musicians/ DJ’s! Thank you SO MUCH for keeping everyone
out on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG at our wedding at the Museum of
the Oregon Territory on June 12th.

the pictures, everyone looked to be having a great time, I know we did!

Dear Dawn,
I just wanted to thank you for helping make my brother-in-law’s wedding such a wonderful event.
It
was quite a task to help my brother-in-law and his fiancee find a DJ
for a wedding in Portland while we were all here in Michigan. Your
timely responses and patience were such a blessing as I tried to pry
necessary information out of two medical students who were studying and
trying to plan a wedding.
As
you were playing the harp during the cocktail hour, I heard nothing but
positive comments. it added such an elegant touch to their wedding
reception and was a delight to listen to.
When
it came time to get the party started, you picked the right combination
of songs to get everyone on their feet and dancing to celebrate with
the newlyweds. You were quick to play song requests and kept the dance
floor filled the entire evening.
I Know the newlyweds enjoyed their reception and you played a huge part in that. I’m
also aware of all the guests who thoroughly enjoyed themselves out on
the dance floor all night long, and I’m certainly one of them.

are so sweet and thoughtful. I certainly will recommend you and DW Duo
to anyone that wants to experience the perfect wedding and reception
with DJ and live music. You two were incredible and Dawn, I was so
touched by your song during the unity candle (lighting and unlighting).
Ben was so sweet up there when the flame kept going out on our
candles, he was so cool, he said, just hold onto my hand and we will
pretend the lighter is the two candles and we will light the unity candle
together. We are so happy. The dance that the two "Mama's" did was a
hit with everyone. I could not believe that was my Mom. I have never
seen her dance before, let alone act like that. It was the funniest
thing to our whole family. Thank you for everything....you were
AWESOME!!!!!

I may have said this in the card we sent you, but both Susan and I
would like to stress that should anyone ever request any references
about you guys and what an **OUTSTANDING** job y'all did, I hope we'll
be at the top of the list! In viewing the wedding video it's evident
that a splendid time was had by all and that's largely due to the
festive ambiance of the entertainment provided by you and William. You
were utterly fantastic in presenting the bracelet to Susan and, because
of the whirlwind of activities going on that night, I don't think I
ever had the opportunity to properly convey my gratitude for that.
Anyway, thanks again, and should Susan and I ever throw another shindig that requires the cheerful tone set by DW Duo, you'll be certain to hear from us again.

I
was watching the kids video last night and it reminded me that I had
never really thanked you for all your wonderful music at their wedding.
Actually the video made me appreciate it all the more. One of the
nicest things is my aunt and uncle dancing since neither of them are in
very good health and we will always have that memory. So thanks for
being your talented self.

We both want to thank you again for doing such a great job at our wedding! Many
people have told us that it was one of the best weddings that they had
